Opt-in Consent

1. Phone Number Entry & Verification

During account creation in the Spinjoy mobile app, users are first asked to enter their phone number to verify their identity.

Below the phone number field, users see:

‍"By continuing, you agree to our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service."

Users tap Send Code. Spinjoy sends a one-time SMS verification code to the number provided to confirm ownership.

This step is for identity verification only. No SMS marketing consent is collected at this step.

2. SMS Marketing Consent (Optional)

After verifying their phone number, users are taken to the profile screen where they enter their name and email address.

Below the email field, users see an unchecked SMS marketing consent checkbox with the following disclosure:

"I agree to receive recurring automated marketing text messages from Spinjoy at the mobile number provided. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Mobile numbers are not sold or shared for marketing purposes. I agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy."

Consent is optional. Users can complete account creation without checking this box. The Continue button is active regardless. Only users who actively check the box are enrolled in SMS marketing communications.

3. Opt-Out Instructions

Consumers may opt out of SMS marketing communications at any time by replying:

STOP

Upon receipt of a STOP request, Spinjoy immediately suppresses future marketing text messages to that mobile number.

Consumers may request assistance by replying:

HELP

Upon receipt of a HELP request, Spinjoy will send a message with customer support contact information.

‍Consent Disclosure

By opting in, consumers expressly agree to receive recurring automated marketing and promotional text messages from Spinjoy. These messages may include:

Promotional offers
Discounts and special pricing
Product and service announcements
Grand opening announcements
Loyalty and rewards promotions
Event notifications
Marketing campaigns
Customer engagement communications

Consent is not required to purchase any Spinjoy product or service.
